1 3/4 headers and 500ci
« on: March 30, 2016 - 02:48:39 PM »
Hi!

I'm going Hedman 1 3/4 headers in my 500ci 440. For the reason that I can use fast ratio steering arms(hopefully).

Anybody have dyno or 1/4 mile results with similar combo? My car is 70 chall, no lightweight parts.

Engine is 500ci, eddy rpm heads, 259/263 mech roller, modified torker2 with dominator. 5spd tremec

My friend heavier b-body went low 11's with same headers and similar 500ci, and that is the performance level I want.

Assuming everything is the same or very similar you should yield similar results as a E body is slightly lighter and definitely more aerodynamic than most B bodies. This of course doesn't account for the driver. Pay attention to the rear end gears as well; wrong gears and you will not see the same results.
