Good info thanks guys. Looks like the picture above is using them to easily adapt a pre made x pipe without going too in depth with custom tubing. Found the picture in summit racing reviews, I'm debating doing the same.

If the joints are intended for torsional loading, they should last well. If they are not, then they will not last well.

 :iagree:  Like I said, you'll most likely see them on engines that are mounted transversely due to the direction they move under load.
