replacing trunk floor
« on: April 13, 2016 - 09:03:46 PM »
Hello All,

I'm about to replace the trunk floor and drop off quarter extensions in my 1970 cuda. should I weld them in with the car on the ground with the tires on (or with the axle on jack stands)? or should I remove the leaf springs and take the pressure off the frame rails? I plan on fitting everything first, but wasnt sure about the pressue on the rails.

Thanks,

Robert

I did mine sitting on the wheels, I figure that is the normal position.  Some may have other opinions
