Brackets:
Yes to the car.
No to your 73 bumper. Later bars now bolt to the heavy crash bar instead of the actual bumper. You will need early bumper also if you intend to use factory pieces.
Just moved the rear in on my 74. Check out my thread in the resto mod section. I detailed my setup.
Others have just cut and welded their original brackets to adjust them.
