sidemarker bulb
« on: June 16, 2005 - 07:43:42 AM »
My front sidemarkers didn't have any bulbs in them when I got the car.  So I took the housing with me to the parts store to get some bulbs.  The guy behind the counter looks up sidemarker bulbs for a '70 Challenger and it comes up 1187.  Obviously wrong.  The guy looks at what I have and thinks it calls for an 1893 and, of course, they do not have any.  All the stuff on the shelves is in packages so I couldn't just start plugging in bulbs to find what fit.  I'm going to try another store on my way home from work tonight.  Can anyone give me the proper size bulb for the front sidemarker on a 1970 Challenger?  Thanks.
