What RPM
« on: March 19, 2016 - 11:09:21 AM »
Just curious who is running a 4 speed with 323 gears and what you are running for RPM at 70 mph? I changed over to a 391 with my auto before I put my 4 speed in and am thinking of changing back to the 323. If you have this setup how is the performance with the 323 and 4 speed? I have the close ratio 4 speed that was put in the TA and AAR's. Also if you have this setup what tooth speedo gear are you running, I have 15 inch wheels and basically 27 inch tires.

Try this.....     http://vexer.com/automotive-tools/speed-rpm-calculator
That's pretty cool I guess my tires are 28" so it would put me at right around 2700 rpm with the 323.  :2thumbs:

2859 @ 70mph with 26.5" tire. It's an auto but still 1:1 final with 3.23 gears.

Tire height?

I should be a tad higher with 3.91s and a 0.63 t56 magnum.

Gotcha, I may be pretty close then. I'm at ~28.5" on the rear.
