Funny guy Alan.  The guy at Napa did it to show me how bad it was.

I tried chrome spray paint for a piece of dash trim and was really disappointed. I did like the aluminum paint though. It truly looked like a brand new aluminum part when done. I'd never use it on wheels or items that people touch a lot but I think it's a great low cost option for little items that don't get rubbed up on. Especially for the high end daily drivers who don't want to break the bank or waste too much time.

I did some quick videos on stainless.  I know you're doing aluminum, but in case you want to do the stainless too....

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Test drove some chrome paint, it had no shine at all. I think it was Dupli-colour. Left it in the store.

Exactly my point. Looks like mat finished aluminum. Zero chrome shine.
Removing the warning labels one at a time.

Cody, I copied your techniques after watching your post and I got some amazing results out of the stainless trim on a convertible. That was probably one of the most useful car videos I ever watched. Thanks for taking the time on that!
