Saleen Challenger
« on: April 01, 2016 - 12:16:31 AM »
Does anyone own one or knows some body who does?

I saw this one on CL and seems like a nice car with a good price, other than the fender stripes.  :eek4:

all the ones I had seen were supercharged with a different hood on them.  Seems to me this is just a cloth interior RT, with saleen wheels and some badging.

All of the ones I was seeing were under Steve Salene's different company (I think that's what it was).

I never saw Saleen challengers, they were all called SMS Challengers, they looked completely different and were soooo sweet!!!

Yeah they looked very different, and you are right, it was under SMS, not Saleen, he started making them after he sold Saleen.  So the thing that's really odd to me is the dash plate, it has the old Saleen logo on it, but the sill plates say SMS.  On the SMS website it says white label like this one was basically just the badges with an exhaust and intake
