I love the looks and the vintage road race theme of the mini-lights... in fact.. I have 2-sets... 15x8 for the street/hwy/cruising (BFG T/A 255-60 f, 275-60 r); and 16x8 with BFG G-Force T/A 255-50-16 f/r for HSAX/HPDE events (and can drive to/from the race track with these).

As Brad has done, I'd eventually like to get a set of the same rims he now has... 18x10 or 18x11... and run wider tires, at least 275-35-18 f/r... or mod my fenders a little more for ~315 or 335 x18s... the advantage of the 18s are more choices... and more 200 tread wear competition tires (the latest "trend" for AX/HSAX events).

Mopar Mitch, wow I am really drooling at that pic!!!!  My goal is to keep within the vintage rules of FIA, AND which ever SCCA rule set will allow the same mods, whether it be Street Prepared, or Competition Prepared.  My goal is not to win the class, but to have fun building something within the rule sets, and drive the hell out of it (legally)!!!  hopefully both, if possible!!

EB3 and all -- T/Anks for the compliments!   The tires in that pic are with brand new (that wknd of ~Sept 2014) 255-60-15 front and 275-60-15 tires... drove out from Chicago area (NW 'burbs) to SW Michigan... Gingerman Raceway... I was the wknd W2W Pace Car, as well as competed in the HSAX.. in the rain!)... good fun and social gatherings (included camping overnight which i like to do).

Good luck with the car build... I encourage you to study club class rules so to figure your best fit (realistically and competitively!) and budget $$$ the mods, etc.

MoPower to ya!
