Flex plate and converter question
« on: March 29, 2016 - 06:22:15 PM »
:wavingflag: I was planning on get a new converter once my engine is finished and dynoed, but my machine shop is recommending i get a better flex plate based on potential horsepower. I believe i currently have a stock flex plate and a 11 inch converter in my 727. can anyone confirm that size and recommend a new plate manufacturer.  I am guessing it should be SFI compliant to be safe for 600+ HP.  Also is the green lo stall sticker indicative of a certain stall or just a general range?

:wavingflag: Well just got off the phone with the guys at Mancini Racing, I have a b&m flexplate coming and based on my engine setup a new 10" converter on the way. Those guys are awesome, everytime I call they actually help and answer Questions. :woohoo:
