Side Mirrors
« on: March 30, 2016 - 01:41:39 PM »
Another question on my 70 Cuda. My car is a resto-mod so not sure if I want to go original 70 style mirrors which has obvious different size mirrors on each side or for appearance, 71 mirrors which are closer to being similar sized. Going to paint the mirrors to match car so want to get mirrors that will last. NOS or OEM are outrageously priced and there's a whole array of aftermarket ones out there with a wide price range. I've heard stories of the insides of some aftermarket ones not lasting and if I'm going to the expense of painting mine, I dont want to have to redo them. I was told a company called Stephens Performance is a supplier of Mopar parts and seem to have a good reputation. They have sets of reproduction mirrors in the $430 per set range and say they've had very few returns out of all the sets they've sold. Wondering if anyone has had luck Stephens Performance or have another line on good quality mirrors?
Thanks

Stephens has an excellent reputation in the Mopar hobby and are some of the best people around.
However, for the mirrors, there are several vendors selling the same products. You might find a better price elsewhere.
There are a couple of suppliers on here like Roseville Moparts or Josh's Parts that offer discounts to Cuda-Challenger members :2thumbs:
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !
