Manifold nuts ?
« on: March 31, 2016 - 09:59:48 PM »
My driver side HP manifold was leaking. Pulled it off and it needs to be machined flat due to un-level surface.  The nuts still have nice sharp edges but have the type of rust/corrosion that you would expect. Thought about reusing them, but might go ahead and replace them. Are they standard nuts like you would buy at Ace, etc or are they different to allow for the heat ?

You may want to also consider changing the studs too. They could be weak and/or stretched which could give you problems with leakage
