A lot of guys just use trampoline springs.  You can always try www.dalescudashop.com.

I think I saved all of those trampoline springs when we tossed the trampoline

The hood moldings are the same steel hood and t/a.  You just needs longer studs on the molding clips. I think r/t specialties has the clips.

I believe the T/A molding is 1/4 inch shorter.   :2cents:  Think I have a new repro, will check.   :rebel:

I used the stock molding off my steel flat hood on my new T/A repop hood, worked just fine. I tried 2 different "T/A hood springs" one didn't hold the hood up and the other started bowing the hood so I took them off and don't use any springs. I made a simple hood prop using the 2 holes in the hood spring arms.

I ordered 2 trampoline springs online; 9.5"" I believe. Seems to work but haven't had a hood on them yet.
