emergency brake help
« on: April 11, 2016 - 01:57:40 PM »
Ok so I had to cut my emergency brake cable outside the fire wall (the metal case part) because my petal assembly is in such bad shape....I think the car sat so long it rusted together...I tried everything to free it up...the handle post and the spring are broken....only way I could get it apart was to cut it in two places...the other cables dont look bad....is this the right part I need???

I guess Ill be looking for a brake set up as well....Its a mess..I cant free up the assembly without taking it totally apart :pullinghair:

Should have seen that you don't have a '70.  The '70 cable system is different.
The 92533 looks like the right one.
