I went to the classic car auction in Toronto today. Here's the results.
2010 Challenger SRT, Purple, hemi
No sale at 25,000. Reserve was 29,000
67 Coronet 500. RT clone. Car looked fine. 22,500
70 Charger RT 440, auto, yellow, tail stripe, very nice. 54,500
Next car was a 70 Chevelle SS, 396 cowl induction, auto, orange. Beautiful car. No sale at 32,000. Reserve 35,000.
I thought it was interesting, but not surprising, that these two, same year, competative cars sold at such different values.
2016 New Hellcat (7 km) 72,000
70 Challenger RT 440, auto, white with orange interior, very nice car but they could have wiped the dust off the top of the dash.
68,000
70 Cuda convertible, 440, auto, yellow with billboards
65,000
This car sold for 73,500 at this auction last Oct.
69 Charger RT 440, auto, pro touring, very nice, 58,000
70 Cuda FM3 Moulin Rouge, numbers matching 340, auto. A polish and wax job would have helped this car. No sale at 45,000 Reserve 50,000.
69 Road Runner 383 4 speed. This car had a custom paint job in 72 and the paint was still amazing. Only 26,000!
Sorry, I can't get the link to work so you can see this car but I'm sure 26k wouldn't do this paint job today. It was a cool car.
