Anyone know what differences between a 70 K-Frame and a 74 K-Frame for a Barracuda?

I have the 70 on the car and I have a 74 that I bought in a front-end package deal.
I was thinking of building the 74 one before I pulled the 70 one.
I noticed that the 74 had a couple of uprights, one on each side. One of them is very close to the steering box. Anyone know what they are for?

I believe that those uprights are the only differences.

They appear to be brackets used to hang the bracket on the assembly line.

I had them on mine and just cut them off and gained a little bit of space.

Thanks, that is what I needed. I had planned on cutting them off but wanted to know what they were for before I did that.
