Shifter Knob

I have a 73 Challenger with a slap stick. I was wondering if the round knob with the center push button will fit. I had the round knob shifter in my 70 Cuda. I liked the feel better. Thanks.

Nope unfortunately, My '73 challenger has a more oval shape. Only reason I know this is because I bought a pistol grip for my auto and I got the wrong one (70 style). May try and dremel to fit.

The black plastic piece that slides inside the chrome shifter plate is different. The end of the shifter goes down through that plastic slider. The bottom of the "T" handle has a square shape and the bottom of the "ball" handle has a round shape. The plastic has those corresponding shapes cut out of it.

Yes you can , get the whole slapstick assembly from a 70 e body or a later Cordoba/ Charger / Volare & you can swap the whole shifter unit , the linkage under the console will connect
