Rallye Bezzel, need one, whats the best route?

Team, looks like Im going to run with one of the new Dakota Digital Rallye gauge sets so I'll need a Bezzle and switch plate for my 73 Cuda, whats out there????? anyone have a good used one or do I go new repop???.

would need it early June, sent to Atlanta no later than the 6th June

These are repoped. look on ebay. you will need the gauge bezel, switch panel, lower section with heater/ac control, also the stainless faceplate for both bezels, as well as the metal backers for stainless bezel. Don't for get the decal of choice for the face.

Thanks JHAAG, yeah, Im thinking thats the route I'll end up taking, the OEM used ones on fleabay are priced pretty high

That's where I got mine, but my time frame allowed me to wait for a decent deal. You may not have that luxury.

I do have some time as DD don't have what I want in stock for now, I'm guessing the only difference between a 70-71, dash to a 72-74 is the early one doesn't have the seatbelt light on the right hand return?

actually the difference between 70/71 and 72/74 is that the earlier ones have 2 holes below the gauges one for the tripometer reset button and the other for the clock reset! and the later ones don't have the holes.

Get a bezel that's correct for your car.  I.e. if you have a 70-71, get a bezel for that.

Then, even if you don't use the holes due to the DD gauges, put the reset knobs in there and hold them in there w/a screw/washer.

IT'll look somewhat correct then.

 :2thumbs: thats the plan, thanks, the DD system has left/righ/high beam indicators in the gauges or, you can choose to use the original indicator lights (three holes along the top.) The DD system also has a shift light output signal,,,,,, so, plan is, for my left/right/hb indicators, use the ones inside the gauges, I'll then put some bright LED's in the three holes and hook them up to the shift light output so I can keep the dash clean of add ons as such :thumbsup:
