Same story as usual  probably has more than that in it , it will cost you at least that much to build one like it , but tough to sell at that price
so as I have always said buy the most expensive car you can it will save you $$ in the long run what are your plans , keeping it for the long run maybe it is worth it to you , flipping it or might sell it off in a couple of years like a new car it may cost you some cash but again might be worth it . Black is tough to paint !

You need to go see this car in person if you have not done so already.  When was it restored and ask to see the pics, you want to be sure this was taken down to metal and restored correctly. I agree with CP, if restored correctly he has $50-60k+ in it, but it probably worth around $28-30k for a '72 4 spd.

:iagree:
If you haven't, you've got to see it yourself or some type of inspection service that knows what their looking at. I went and looked at a car that I could not believe was the same car that I had seen pictures of. It was amazing how well the pictures made the car look, that car was no good. Pictures  do lie.

Yes: that is more like 70 money. I think $25k would be topend if a guy really wanted it. Nice driver for sure and I'd love to own it though. For more than $25k it would need correct rad and other parts, matching #'s, original 4 speed and proper coatings instead of spraybomb black everywhere.

Agree that the price is high for the car.  If the car were done correctly I think the price would be in line with the market.  There seems to be a pretty big demand for 72-74 Cudas if they are restored correctly.
