    340 intake crack?

    After magnifluxing I have a crack in my intake on an exhaust port . Just thinking of blocking it off.
    My question is do I or should I block off both sides? It is the original 70 intake and I want to keep it that way. Thanks guys

    not sure I follow...you have a crack on the an exhaust port on you intake manifold???

    Do you have pictures of the crack??

    Cracks through the exhaust crossover are fairly common.  My original intake was cracked there too.  The machine shop showed me where the crack went all the way up through the carb flange.  They thought there would be a definite vacuum leak.  I used a different intake.

    Any advice on using blocking plates on the exhaust crossover on my intake manifold?
