Why two fuel lines on some Cudas?
« on: June 22, 2017 - 10:26:55 AM »
I've noticed two fuel lines on some E-bodies.  I've heard one is a return line.  My 1970 340 Cuda only had one fuel line and I think the vapor return was in the truck.  Thanks!!!

Tts part of the CAS (cleaner air system) for CA emissions vehicles, they also have a "banana" shaped vapor separator in the trunk and 4 lines from the vapor separator to the fuel tank. The vapor line can also tee into the valve cover breather depending on the engine

Wait till you track down a real 70 California 440, 440-6 or 426 Hemi car...  Or a Federal 71 440, 440-6 or 426 Hemi car...  Three lines.... 3/6 fuel supply, 5/16 vapor, 1/4" fuel return....
