Heater Hose
« on: July 08, 2016 - 01:02:25 PM »
There are two coper pipes that come out of the heater and through the fire wall, one is smaller thane the other in diameter ( see picture ) . My question is, where does the smaller hose go to on the water pump? Is it the one closest  to the radiator or or the one closest to the distributorcap ? Thx

On a big block it doesn't really matter....Just check the size of the nipples on the front of the engine...could be a chance you have two large ones on the engine.
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

I took the nipples off when I replaced the water pump and one is the smaller diameter nipple and one is bigger, just cant remember where the smaller one goes on the water pump? It is a 440 engine. Thx
