Honestly I'm not a fan of any roller tip rockers, just more parts to fail.. And those tiny needle bearing can do allot of damage...  :2cents: If your running over .600 lift you need them, less than that & I'll use ductile iron every time...

As far as the O/P problem, either the rocker supports are wider than standard or the shaft hold downs are narrower than standard....

I guess the Eddys and Trick Flow are made to use the stock stamped steel rockers or Harland Sharp aluminum rollers or similar. Nodular or stainless PRW roller rockers  designs will have interference issues with (some) of the rocker shaft pedestals. Machining will be required to fit them.

Go to Moparts race section ANDYF has a lot of photos there of rockers mocked up on Trickflows. I think he went with HS in the end but I forget the whole story that went with it.

Also considering sending the PRW's back and trying Harland Sharp or Comp cams assemblies

New rockers arrived...they fit perfectly right out of the wrapper.  Every one is aligned on the valve stem and correct side to side play.  Back in business!  Time to measure push rod length and get those ordered.  (Ignore shaft hardware, just temporary to check fit)

Looks great and nice progress.   :2thumbs:

What is the spring pressure rated at?

It was highly advised to me when I broke in my engine that spring pressure needs to be 350 lbs or less on start up.

If necessary, remove inner springs during break in.

Thanks!  According to trick flow, for this head version, 390lbs.  I've heard the same as you.  I've heard some take out the centre spring for breakin.

Exactly!

I was lucky.

My spring rate fell just under the 350 so I was able to go ahead and break in with them in place.

I would think removing inner spring is even more important on solid cams than on hydraulic lifter cams.
