idler arm hitting headers

Troubleshooting...
Working on my buddy's 71 Challenger R/T v-code... It has TTI headers.. All of sudden, the idler arm has been hitting the tube of the headers. My gut is that for some reason the motor has torqued over causing it to shift, thus lowering the passenger side.. There seems to be evidence of the motor mount insulator wars sliding down? It has been totally fine for over 2.5 years. Now all of a saddened, this. There doesn't seem to be any obvious motor mount damage... I haven't loosened the motor mount 5/8 bolts yet to see if I can reposition the engine and see if it levels out.. The headers aren't loose, k-member seems to be fine at the idler arm mounting point....

TTI mentions this in the engine bulletin... Which ones are these.
 
Headers fit with Schumacher Creative Services engine mounts or equivalent (OEM).

I know of another car with the same problem  , it could be bad mounts sagging or collapsing or it could be production tolerances , you could tweak the idler arm hole with a die grinder & lower the arm a little .

My car had same issues - new TTI headers - new idler arm etc. Tried shimming the engine up etc to no avail - finally just accepted it and clearanced the header. 6 years later (just last week) I put another new idler arm in again and now it hits right behind where the old one used to - just have to extend the "clearance". Both idler arms were / are Moog - suspect casting differences in the idler arm as the "original" worn out one prior to the 2 I installed never touched the header.

If you oval the lower hole a little toward the K frame with a die grinder the arm can be lowered easily .
