I run amzoil synthetic, I don't know if it has any zinc. Or if it needs it.

Amzoil Z-rod has zinc in it. unless you have A roller cam in your engine, you need it.

good old Rotella 15-40 with Hughes Engines extreme pressure additive. I stay away from synthetics unless it calls for it.

Ya, I'm using Z-Rod. So I guess I'm ok. Using the right oil by luck rather than knowledge. lol.
