Electric Trimmer
« on: August 01, 2016 - 07:54:11 PM »
Wow, had a gas trimmer my whole life for the lawn and garden.
But just bought a little battery pack electric $100 job from that big online store, where
you can read reviews.  Really slick, being able to turn it on and off
when you want to, with the push of a button. Maybe the electric
cars will become popular too. Also bought last year an electric chainsaw.
Works great!

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

I bought something similar recently.

It uses a lithium battery, so it's pretty light.  It came as a set.  An electric string trimmer and hedge trimmer share the same battery and charger.

Pretty happy with it.

Still looking for a good handheld electric grass trimmer for close in work.  Use to have a craftsman that I loved.  But the nicad battery pack gave up long ago.

Giving up on my gas mower and going electric with one soon. Small flat yard so no big deal.
Tired of it not starting. Keep having to take apart carb to clean out. Never see anything but it fires up after opening it up.

Have a real hate going for carbs now with the fuel blends we have now.
Removing the warning labels one at a time.
Nature will take care of the rest.
