Looking for a Red 70 E-Body Auto Console

Long shot I know, but looking for a nice clean original RED console for a 70 Cuda with Auto trans.

Ok, i know it may not help much. But i think that the interior in general has the same numbers regardless of paint, if you are a numbers matching guy. So i would try in your shoes, to paint a black console and install it. I used Herb's Parts interior paints.

They have, i believe, almost all the colors and shades produced back then. I used black to refresh all my interior but the sunvisors were dark green from an AAR 'cuda, i used the black paint and they became great. If anyone used it from CC.com, he could tell you more, i learned about Hearb's Parts in this site of course. Anyway good luck with your project.

You can always paint any console red.  If you cannot find one, these reproduction ones I have heard are not bad.  I once purchased a really nice console that was originally green painted black by Hoffman's.  You would have never known it was green at one time.  Price is less compared to a real nice original console.

Thanks for the advice guys. Painting a black one was my next step and I've already got the paint from Herb's.
