cuda drive shaft lenght
« on: April 15, 2016 - 01:26:58 PM »
question,
I have a drive shaft from a challenger, the yoke and spline shaft match my 727 trans and 8 3/4 rear end. but the length is wrong,

what should be the proper length for a 1971 340 cuda /727/ 8 3/4 drive shaft?

How do you determine the proper length if using a Tremec or any other tranny besides factory ?

alright so after finding multiple "correct" lengths for a cuda w 340/ 727 and a 8 3/4
anywhere from 43.60 up to 43.85
I have decided to have it shortened to
43 5/8 as this would be 43.625
unless any one would recommend differently?

That listing does not include a 73 340 with an 8 3/4 Cuda...
