Steering columns
« on: September 05, 2016 - 08:34:31 PM »
I have two steering columns that I got 20 years ago as back ups for my '70 Challenger (complete columns for parts if needed, both for floor shifted cars). I have forgotten how to tell which columns are for power/standard steering and I don't remember if there are also differences between floor shifted automatics/four speeds. Can anyone help me resolve this issue? Thanks guys.  :burnout:

Pretty sure there's no difference between 4 speed and Auto floor shift columns in 1970.  Power Steering columns are shorter then Manual steering columns.  The columns can be collapsed too so make sure when you are lining them up that one has not been collapsed.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
