the wing is designed to work & will handle 800 + lbs of down force either with the air pushing or 3 grown men the size of Buddy Baker standing on it , the wings were alum not plastic or decorative
I'd be more concerned with paint damage/peeling due to the..........uh..close proximity....to the.....uh, well you know. ::)
Ya get them little suckers wet and they develop quite a grip, poor guy might have had to drive home with them attached. Sometimes ya kin dislodge them by sliding them to a corner tho.  :ack:
