Door Latch

I need a door latch with the rod for the drivers door of a 70 Cuda. Others may work let me know what u got Thanks

Do you need the part that is in the door that closes on the striker1/  And the rod that goes to the inside handle, outside handle or the lock rod? I should have those parts from a 1974 chall

Hi Brotow in need the part that goes inside the door held in with 3 screws. I would take all the rods, I don't know what is missing, someone stole it while the car was sitting. I'm in Canada so let me know how much with shipping Thanks Dirk

70 door latches are different from the other years.

In 1970, you can't lock the door from the inside and then close the door.  The latch will unlock.  The door needs to be locked with the key from the outside.  Later year latches should still bolt in place and work.

Here are some pictures. The latch was blasted and powder coated, needs to be greased before use. I found the two long rods I also should have the plastic clips I haven't found the two short rods yet. They may have been sold with the outer handles.
