Stripped to bare metal by me,and painted and undercoated.I just painted it black underneath since it was backhalved in the 80's with frame rails ect.This is just going to be a driver,and I'm actually thinking of running it on the track a little again.Its light years away from being a show car,those days are long gone.I want it as nice as possible on my budget,and hopefully just assembling it cleanly will make it nice.I had to sell a nice street/strip 72 Duster to finance the Cudas metal and paint work.But I'm pretty anal about things,and to spend another 10k on paint and body it would have to be damn near perfect.Ive seen some 30k paint jobs around here,and not putting them down,but they had their flaws that stood out if you looked just like any of them.It will make me sick enough to get a door ding in this one as it sits now,let alone nicer.
