Hey guys...I'm into the earlier Mopars as my handle suggests, but I wanted to ask a question about challenger production.
Back in 1970 my father was sales manager for the local Mopar dealer and ordered in a Convertible for his niece.
Just the other day I happened across some production numbers and was shocked by how low production convertibles actually were, and got to thinking her car must have been extremely low!
How do I find out?
If someone has easy access to records or something I'd appreciate it if they could give them a quick look.
The car was Panther Pink with a white (non-power) top, white interior and a Slant 6. Power steering and I'm pretty sure power brakes. My Dad forgot to order the power top option so the 3 sisters would team up to raise or drop it!
Man was he rotted with himself when the car came in with a manual top! LoL
It was pretty impressive to see those three teen beauties tearing around in such a cool car back then.
That must have been a rare combo...
Thanks!
Bill
