really $130.150  for a used hood latch release wow.$95. for a secondary latch

Yeah, im in the same boat. Need one for my car, but dont want to pay that much for it. Maybe i'll get lucky and find one at a swap meet this year.

looking for these for a 71 cuda  pic may not be the exact same . also Im gona need all the door hardware rod and latches for the inside door handles and locks have outside ones.

I am not sure but I think you could modify the 72-74 cuda hood release lever to work in a 71 cuda. The end that bolts on the latch support looks the same ,just the end looks longer.. Enless your looking for # matching or something ,that might be a option.

no does not have to be # matching it is a hemi clone just want what works right and looks right almost tempted to make my own :)

If someone is looking I have a couple of the 1971 cuda hood latche levers. one stock one with a bad spring and a after market one that totally looks stock but no part number on it. 75 for either one, I think I payed 100

Hi Guy's, If you need help I might be able to help you out. I restore latches,hook, release. I have a few 71-74 Cuda  hook.   71 release lever are harder to come by.

BlackACR , how available is the hood release spring for 73 Barracuda, realized yesterday thats why my lever is so loose there is no spring.
Do you sell just the spring?

Thanks I'll look into the parts manual and find out what it looks like .They have plentyof springs on the place

The hood latch release lever is fixed, I found the spring had slipped of its perch. Reattached.
