Well I just finished the dash up earlier today. Some will not like it, I do though for what I was wanting to do (save money, fill crack, and paint black) I did a mix of directions from polyvance as well as the napa article on panel refreshing and this is the end product. To me it looks like a plastic that most cars went to in the 80's. I think it turned out better then getting a hard plastic dash cap to put over it as well. Also the VIN is still there, I just had it covered with painters tape lol

Nice, just saved yourself a nice bit of cash to use elsewhere.

Just a quick update for everyone. Got the trunk pan out today, as expected, the left frame rail was pretty much shot. Have a new one ready to go in.

Looks great! Please post a few extra shots of the trunk progress as you go. I'm going to tackle that on mine so I'm following yours intently.

Beekeeper, not trying to hi-jack but I also replaced my trunk pan and extensions, dutch man panel and rear quarters also.  If you're looking for some reference pictures you can check out my build at the below web address.  Good luck.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda.  Matching numbers 440 U Code, 4 speed pistol grip, Rallye dash, AM 8 Track, Shaker hood, 15 inch rallye wheels, Dana 60 4.10, Super Track Pak.  One of 134 - 440 "U" coupes codes built in 1970 and one of 100 - 440 Super Track Paks built in 1970.

(Edited 8-1-17)

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Well got some stuff accomplished this weekend, also found some more crappy patch work that showed itself as well. Got the drivers frame rail cut out, mocked up the new one and going to weld it in place tomorrow. Cut out the drivers trunk extension since it was a crumpled rusty mess, behind that I found that shotty patch work has been made and rivited in on the lower quarter and that the bottom of it was rusted underneath the bondo. So went ahead and ordered new AMD patches that install above the wheel well. They should be coming by the end of the week.
