Early in my parts gathering for my T/A project I bought most of an exhaust system at the nats that I was told was installed on an AAR in the late 70s and the car was totaled soon afterwards. The exhaust was removed and stored in a barn for the next 20 years until I bought it.
I later scored a pair of NOS mufflers and didn't use the take offs ( I bought a pair of Dales date coded mufflers when they first came out too, so I have a number of extra mufflers gathering dust now!)
Someone on another forum is looking for original TA mufflers and really wants mine. I'm looking for a fair asking price for these? They look pretty nice, some scratches in the paint and such, but pretty decent. Date coded mid 70s. If they were date coded in 1970 they'd be on my car now!
Just wondering also what the NOS ones I put on my car were worth? Again, mid 70s date codes.
