If you want to know if it's a good deal, you might wanna include the price.  :clueless:

Seems like an OK deal, you wanna inspect it for rust though in the usual places. Trunk, extensions, floor, firewall/cowl. My 73 was a bit more rusty thatn I thought it would be, but it only showed up after blasting it.

seems about right to me for a '73, but certainly check it a little deeper as mentioned above

The more money you spend up front for a clean example(rust free) the farther ahead you'll be in the long run.  Body and paint work is the most expensive part of a restoration.  $6500 for a rust free 73 is a good deal IMO.  Just know that you'll be upside down on the car when it's done.(even if it was free)  This is a hobby for most people and they shouldn't expect to make money on these car.

Good advice from a man who knows from whence it came! Too true.

A really close inspection....It looks like the body work has been started so I would make sure it doesn't have a lot of bondo replacing the rust....

With that said.....I think just about any E Body for $6500 is a good deal... :2cents:

I bought a 73 Challenger last December for $3500...    however - It needed quarter panels, trunk pan, trunk extensions, fenders, and numerous hours of small rust repair here and there....     bodywork and paint are expensive and time consuming...    I have been working on mine for almost a year with several months hiatus because of Uncle Sams' callings...      but the car is just getting close to primer...    The positive is I re-learned bodywork and enjoyed doing some things for the first time (trunk pan) and overall know the satisfaction of what the finished product will be...       I have about $2000 into all the body panels I ordered and installed so for basically $5500 I have a solid rust free challenger shell...     BUT look at the time and frustration I went through...      you are way money ahead buying a rust free car (Mine came from Eastern MD)

Plus side is also mine is a Rallye 340 car
