Great info!! 

CJD, what would you recommend for the rear suspension? Hotchkis leaf springs or going for a 3-/4-link aftermarket solution like QA1?

I would stay with the Hotchkis setup.  TVS is Total Vehicle System, so they designed the rear to work with the front.  Don't know anything about the geometry on the QA1 rear or how it's working.  Anyone got it installed and have any feedback?

What's your goal? There are plenty of fast cars with well matched leaves and a good driver. The cool thing to do is run coilovers, but most don't know how to set them up unfortunately.

A driver. I live in Central Europe so roads are narrow and windy therefore the suspension is very important. I wanted to go with full Hotchkis TVS, but then I saw QA1 products and they have really nice marketing so they got me thinking about their products, too. I think that for the front suspension there is not much difference between Hotchkis and QA1, but for the rear the price difference is huuuuge: $3000 vs $600!

So, is it worth to pay 5x more? Or is it really THAT good?

I lean toward hotchkis here. Fundamentally, QA1 builds suspensions for dozens and dozens of different cars. Realistically they aren't all going to be "the best" at all of them, but there is an offering and it is flashy.

On the other hand, hotchkis competitively races an ebody and has used that platform to further develop their kit. In this instance, I lean toward who is going to be more of an expert for my specific car.

I think that is Hotchkis.

You like posting that new HEMI just to drive me crazy!      I NEED ONE!!!  6.4L pleeese!   Didn't know Dave could supply those. Hmmm.  I agree with goody and cjd.    Hotchkis.  I have a full RMS set-up, And like the R&P steering/ coils.   5 speed is priceless to me with OD and 3:91's.

This is not for the faint of heart, as I'm in the middle of installing one and many parts from the mopar "kit" do no fit and this requires many fabrications. I'm putting together a detailed post after I fire it this week, hopefully.

Hey cjd,
You mention either the NAG or 4L80e as possibilities for OD automatic transmissions. How about the A518 (46RH)? AFAIK it bolts to a 3rd Gen Hemi. Thoughts/comments?
