Even from the factory, paint lots varied. A car painted the same color but months apart might look a little different if seen side by side. The same holds true today. Most people have seen plastic bumper covers that aren't a perfect match to the car body. That's because the bumpers arrive at the factory pre-painted from the manufacture.
Having a local company mix the paint in house will probably get you a closer match and they can customize the color if need be.
