freshly built motor break in recommendations

Read a lot of articles and posts on this topic. What is the best way to break in a brand new motor on the street? For those who don't know, I have a freshly built 512 with hydraulic roller, aluminum heads, steel rockers, etc. So far I've logged about 100 miles; all side street miles, light takeoffs, keeping it at a max rpm of 3k, no tire squealing, hard shifts, etc.

How many miles before full throttle, rpm range to stay in, maintenance, etc.

well, on dynos, after a few mild pulls, with it well warmed up, they take it
to the limit.
As long as well warmed up, I think you can start doing some pulls
up near 6000 rpm.

want to be on dino oil untill 1500 miles, to help rings seat

Little late to be asking....  I would have been WOT in high gear before in had a mile on it...  Roller cam doesn't need break in so your biggest concern is seating the rings... Best way to do that is WOT with a heavy load ...

If you've got the right wall finish, and moly-faced rings in it, it's as broke in as it's going to be. I recommend 3-400 miles of driving with limited beating. Then drop the oil and filter, and drive it in whatever your "normal" is. Non need to hold back.
