Hey guys,
As many of you know I'm putting back together my 71 Challenger Convertible after just getting it back from being painted. I welded up a jig for the K-member, rebuilt the 340 and suspention. Up to this point I have the suspension, K-member and 340 assembled on the jig.
Before Keisler went out of business I bought a complete kit TREMEC TKO 600 from soup to nuts from them. Everything I needed to make the conversion to the 5 speed.
I installed the Flywheel last night with ARP fasteners and then went to install the clutch and pressure plate and none of the holes lined up with the Flywheel.
Well come to find out (no big surprise from Keisler) I was sent a 10.5" Flywheel and an 11" clutch and pressure plate. I caller American Powertrain to talk to them but its a weekend and they are closed. I just can't pick a new clutch and pressure plate I need one specific for the TKO 600 with the correct splines.
Below is what I was sent what do you guys suggest? I like the Billet flywheel over the Sachs clutch just not sure which clutch and pressure plate to get. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Its a street car only so I don't thik a 10.5" set up will make a huge difference over an 11" set up.
Flywheel:
Ram 1503 Billet Steel Flywheel. 10.5"(10.95") B&B Diaphragm, 130 Tooth.
Clutch and Pressure Plate:
Sachs PC1877-KE, Item CLA-PK1877KW, 11"
Thanks
Dave
