I have always wanted to go to Alaska, I was very near going there for a job when they put the pipeline in (now does that give away my age, lol), and now after NZ's pics it sure would be nice to somehow visit there. And the months from October to April are perfect. Although October and April are usually mild here that is the begining/ending of the more bad weather months where I live, especially late November through early March. Thanks to you guys for posting the beautiful pics.

Thanks Jim, if you have some photos of the area you live in feel free to post 'em up for all to see.  :)

more.

We started fishing at 6am and we caught 6 (the limit for 3 people) and were heading home by 8am. Home before 2pm after cleanup.

Good effort mate....don't get salmon in our oceans down here. Get something similar though. Decent sized fish.

These fish here (below) are some of our favorite King Fish.
These are caught either in boat or prefered off rocks. Land Based Game  Fishing (LBG)  ;)
Haven't caught one yet but I came bloody close!!

Rock fishing is my favorite. You can find heaps fo possies, no one else for miles and hungry fish.  :grinyes:
