    Am I going the right way?

    The fuel gauge on my 70 Challenger is reading low. The needle barely touches F and today I was showing just over 1/4 and I could only put in 8 gallons of fuel.
    Am I correct that I need to bend the float arm downward to make the gauge read higher?
