I'm pretty sure you cover it with your own material anyways, so basically you;re just buying the shaped board....How bad could it be ? :dunno: :smilielol:
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

Yes it will be covered with alcantara, but I guess the quality on the work can be good/bad like on many other parts? :dunno:
I found a company named SE Headliners,so will send them a email.

Ken,  can you post pictures or sent me pictures of the inside roof area.  My consolette is starting to sag  in the front and I am wondering what holds it up by the rear view mirror.  Headliner is up and good but consolette is not attached by mirror.
Is there a metal bracket or what?  Mike.

No one makes a formed perforated beaver board panel that I am aware of.  I used an early version of the fiberglass SE headliner in my Gran Coupe, and there was some fitting and cutting to be done.  The rolled sides were the hardest as they were curved a little too much, and had to be fastened with rivets to hold it in place.  Since there is nothing else out there that I am aware of, it is a good as it gets.  The headliner material is still made, but has a thicker back to it.  you can find it here:
http://www.stockinteriors.com/HeadlinerColorsUp.asp?TypeId=21 (Search under Headliner Board)

It is the same texture as the original, just thicker.

There are 6 metal clips that attach the console to the headliner...  Well, more accurately there are twelve clips, six are supposed to be permanently attached to the console & six attach to the first clip & get bolted to the headliner board...  Theres also a bracket where the courtesy light attaches that gets screwed to a headliner brace...
