Colour q3 light turquoise for my challenger 1970
« on: November 27, 2016 - 06:35:42 AM »
Hello I have a Challenger from 1970 that I want to paint in the original color q3 light turquoise. I have found all the old color code but the painter can't find it in his system because they are to old and everyone I ask say the same. Does anyone here have the right color code for q3? Best regards Sune Jacobsen

Looks like A, B, & C bodies only had Q3 as a paint color.  It would look good on a challenger, tho.  Maybe Sune can post a pic of their Data plate, to be sure.  Maybe its EB3, and not Q3?  :dunno:

Any good paint supply store should have the formula.

http://www.aarta.com/challenger_colors/challenger_colors.html

This website lists all the available colors for Challengers and Cudas from 1970-74.  If a car was special ordered with a different color then the above list, there would be a 999 code on the fender tag.  999 was the code for special order paint.  There is no way to know what color the car was.  999 just means it wasn't a regular production line color for that model.
