 1970 DODGE CHALLENGER

This car was featured in Popular Hot Rodding Magazine and was built by South Coast Rides in Texas. The car received a full rotisserie restoration with the underside as nice as the top. The 416 stroker small block was built by Hughes Engines in Illinois and made 555 hp at 6,100 rpm and 552 lb-ft at 4,600 rpm while carbureted. The engine has since been converted to fuel injection. The car was previously equipped with an air ride suspension but that has since been removed for a QA1 coil over setup on all 4 corners. This is a well-sorted pro touring style car that goes as good as it looks.

Oiling: Melling high-volume oil pump, Milodon pan
Rotating assembly: Mopar Performance 4.000-inch steel crank, Scat H-beam rods, Keith Black 9.3:1 forged pistons
Cylinder heads: ported Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum castings with 2.08/1.60-inch valves; Hughes springs and retainers
Camshaft: Hughes 242/246-at-.050 hydraulic flat-tappet cam, .592/.606-inch lift, 110-degree LSA
Valvetrain: Hughes lifters, 1.6:1 rockers, and timing set
Induction: ported Edelbrock Victor intake manifold, FAST XFI Fuel Injection
Ignition: FAST billet distributor, 6AL ignition box, coil, and plug wires
Fuel system: Rick's Hot Rod Shop tank; Aeromotive in-tank pump and regulator
Exhaust: TTI Performance 1¾-inch long-tube headers and X-pipe, dual 2.5-inch DynoMax mufflers
Cooling: Mopar Performance pump; Be Cool radiator and dual electric fans
Output: 555 hp at 6,100 rpm and 552 lb-ft at 4,600 rpm
Built by: Hughes Engines (Washington, IL)

DRIVETRAIN
Transmission: Phoenix GM 4L60E overdrive, adapter plate, custom flexplate, and 3,000-stall coverter; Compushift computer, Lokar shifter
Rear axle: Chrysler 8 3/4-inch rearend, Auburn limited-slip differential; Moser 30-spline axles and 3.70:1 gears

CHASSIS
Front suspension: Ridetech tubular control arms, QA1 Coil overs; stock sway bar
Rear Suspension: Ridetech four-link, QA1 Coil overs, and subframe connectors
Brakes: Baer 13-inch discs with two-piston calipers, front and rear

WHEELS & TIRES
Wheels: Boze Pro Touring 18x8 (4.5-inch backspace), front; 18x10 (5.75-inch backspace), rear
Tires: Goodyear Eagle F1 225/45R18, front; 295/45R18, rear
