Tach stopped working correctly
« on: January 06, 2017 - 03:49:30 PM »
My tach has been working flawlessly but today, it stopped working normally.

Power and all wires and connections are fine.

It seems like the tach needle gets stuck and revving the motor does not increase RPMs.  Nor does it reset to 0 when engine is stopped.

If I drive, the tach needle does move slightly but not like it should.  The only difference today is that it is quite cold.  Driving around seemed to loosen it but it's still not right.

Is my tach dying?  Is there anything I can do to 'fix' it before it dies completely?
