1970 Cuda 4-speed reverse wiring question
« on: January 10, 2017 - 12:19:24 PM »
I getting ready to re-install my 440 and A833 4-speed after swapping out the headers in my '70 'Cuda.   However, the trans was already out of the car and the wire harness removed when I bought the car so I don't know where or how the reverse wiring harness and it's clips are attached to the transmission.  Does anybody have a picture/diagram or even verbal explanation of an A833 with the reverse wiring harness correctly attached to the transmission before it is installed in the car?  I know (I think) that there is a retaining clip at the 11 o'clock position on the bell housing but even with that my harness hangs down below the trans so it seems there needs to be some additional clips/attachment points somewhere else on the trans.   :feedback:

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.
