In search of the correct alternator part number

At some point the alternator on my 70 Challenger (318 w/ac) was replaced with a re-manufactured one. I'm going through a lot of trouble to bring my car back to a factory original look.  I will need to send the alternator out to be restored, but if am going through the expense I want to make sure I am starting with the correct core.  The one I have looks correct, but it has the wrong part number stamped on it "2098830" date coded "47 63" with a rear casting date of "1966".  I have plenty of time to search for the correct core, but I need to identify the part number I am looking for.  Here is a snippet from my build sheet, which shows a "78" under "Alt". Am I correct to assume that this corresponds to "3438178" listed in the Chrysler parts catalog ?

I have the one in my 70 barracuda that looks original, I will get the numbers off this weekend and if it happens to match what you need we can work something out for it. Save you some time trying to chase down the parts.

that would be appreciated.  If yours isn't a dual pulley (used on ac cars), then it won't have the right number.

Yeah mine is an AC car.
