opinions on 15x7 or 15x6 rallye wheels
« on: August 05, 2017 - 08:22:50 PM »
Just looking for a few opinions on a rim choice. I`m searching wheel and tire combos and after looking at Coker tires website. They have a 15X7 Mopar Rallye rim with 4.5 bolt pattern & 4.25 backspacing for $107ea. Summit has same rim for $99 but in a 15X6 size. Is there much of a difference if any between these two sizes? The savings with the free shipping has me considering the Summit rims. Any tire size or brand recommendations for this size rim are appreciated too. I really like the Firestone wide oval`s but might be a little too much for my budget.

I would not go with 15x6. I tend to put 15x7s on my cars and I still find them to be too narrow.

I'm gonna go with the chromed road wheels (magnums) on my current project. Rally's are great looking too though and I've had many sets over the years.

Thanks Beekeeper. I don`t want the 15x6`s for the rear if they are too skinny.  I just checked Summit again and they have this rim in a 15x8 with a 4.25 backspacing. Anyone know if this will fit in a stock wheel well for a 72 Cuda, don`t want any rubbing issues? Maybe 15x8`s in the rear and 15x6`s up front, what do you think? Thanks!

15x8 in back should work nice, 15x6 is ok for fronts as long as you don't want to go past 225 or 235s
